Recording
With many years of experience in studio recording across a range of modern and vintage equipment I am well placed to drop into any studio setting. Sadly I don't currently have my own studio space so while I hunt for one I can negotiate the use of other studios and with my network of contacts put you in touch with the right people for the job.
I provide a mobile recording service primarily geared towards classical music concerts and performance in various settings such as cathedrals, churches, music halls and open air but with the capabilities to cater for; band performance, spoken word, voice over and podcast.
I have a real passion for Field Recording and capturing the sound of the human and natural world. Having worked as location sound for film and TV recording dialogue and interviews, I have also spent countless hours capturing the atmospherics. If you require the sound of the M32 at rush hour or the Avalon Marshes at dusk then I can deliver high quality recordings on demand.

Origins
Working for 20+ years in the entertainment industry, primarily in audio but also with other aspects such as lighting, set building and stage management, I have gained a wide scope of the ins and outs of the business. Since my first sound engineering gig at 19 years old while studying a music diploma I have been involved in a wide variety of projects on a variety of scales from Netflix to the BBC, working with Slate and Ash to record for their virtual instruments, to smaller independent podcasts and working on live shows for the Glastonbury Festival and film screenings with live orchestras. For the last 7 years I have acted as Studio Manager for Christchurch Studios in Bristol (owned by the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School). Here we produced radio drama, film, podcasts and music in either a commercial capacity for high profile and local clients or as training for the students of the school.
